| PrimePilot™ Starter Packs |
| Low investment, low risk
evaluation pilots. PrimeLearning.com® gives something back to the
industry. |
October 31, 2002 LIMERICK, IRELAND - PrimeLearning.com®™, a
leading international provider of business eLearning solutions
for the corporate training market, today announced a major
new initiative aimed at addressing the needs of organizations
still undecided about the benefits of eLearning.
Recent research suggests that over 83% of major corporations
have yet to evaluate eLearning to any significant degree.
PrimeLearning.com® recognizes the need to meet that challenge,
and to do it in a way that gives something back to the industry.
"The industry is seeing smaller training budgets in search
of higher returns on investment," said Neil MacDonald, Business
Development VP with PrimeLearning.com®. "Training
managers have been watching eLearning grow, and a great
many want to make the move to the new medium. But there's
a natural reticence about making a large investment in something
new. And how do they get everyone else on board? PrimeLearning's
new program is designed to simply take the risk out of exploring
the transition."

| PrimePilot Starter Packs
come in various shapes and sizes. Under the PrimePilot
program, an organization can select from a wide range of content
packages, with between 21 and 61 hours of eLearning in each
Starter Pack. Pilot programs can run for 1 month or 3 months
and cater for as many as 25 learners, with larger pilots available
on request. As well as providing an organization with a dedicated
account on their eLearning Systemä, PrimeLearning.com®
is including a range of services to give the pilot every chance
of success. This includes planning and internal marketing
assistance, as well as regular progress reports to track utilization,
on-going pilot support and individual learner Mentoring support.
PrimeLearning.com® is offering all of this for an investment
of between $1,000 and $5,500. |

| Tom Barron, a Senior Consultant
with SRI Consulting Business Intelligence, notes that a majority
of organizations have yet to implement eLearning initiatives.
"Less than 20% of respondents to a recent Web survey conducted
by CIO Magazine said they had an eLearning initiative underway",
says Barron, a consultant with SRIC-BI's Learning on Demand
program. "Pilot implementations provide an ideal way for organizations
to sample the benefits of eLearning." |
| |
| "Under the PrimePilot program,
companies can now run a serviced pilot inside their own organization
for as little as a thousand dollars", says MacDonald. "We're
offering them time to explore the new medium in a meaningful
way. Product demos just don't go far enough. Generally, demos
only reach those people who are positively disposed to eLearning
already. This program bridges that gap by reaching out to
a wider pilot audience. We believe the PrimePilot program
offers very low risk for such a high potential return." |
